So... another one of those happy days. Although it was a bit too cold for me to be super happy walked all over campus - still great.
It started with some lectures. It is official that today is the day that I finally understood what he was talking about in Physics. He is hilarious and made a joke and people didn't laugh as much as he wanted us to so I thought I would share with the blog world. Okay, so we are studying circuits now in Physics - dc circuits to be exact. Anyway, today we were talking about how batteries work in a circuit and he wanted to show us a demo. He held up a lemon and asked if we had seen this before. I have not, so I was one of the many to raise my hand. The lemon had two strips of metal sticking out of it (one zinc, one copper)... anyway, he hooks it up and completes the circuit and it reveals that it actually carries a charge like a battery. He then tried to hook up the lemon to the fan to see if it would power the fan to spin like the actual batter had - it didn't. This is when he made his joke and said in his cute asian accent "Oh this did not work, must be a lemon!" Haha... I loved it.
After that, I went back. This is went I indulged in some meat for the first time in about a month. I was craving it and I am not one to deprive myself (except for bagels - still going strong btw). So I did but I also decided that I am going to do a one day a week vegetarian day to still feel like I am making a difference. I had my lunch then my one-on-one with my boss. THEN the big moment happened...
My awkward lunch 'date' with my old Greek professor. Haha, it went well... we got my recommendation all squared away for Greece and everything is looking on track.
After that I met with my Chem TA to discuss some things for lab, then off to edit some video for the year book (stupid), back for some dinner, fell upon a speech by this man Geary Jones who was convicted of drug smuggling and served time in a federal penitentiary. Very interesting and inspiring - I am a sucker for hearing life stories, always something to gain I believe. After that came back found out I did above average on my Micro test yesterday, grabbed a late night snack and now I am fulfilling my blogging duties and telling all what I did today.
Tomorrow should be a nice, smooth day with LOTS of work to get done. Saturday - practice MCATS - oh man, haha. Saturday night State Pattys Day parties. Sunday church and review session. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday lots of work then SPRING BREAK ON FRIDAY :-)
Yay! Love Love Love --

Many Confessions...
Oh dear... here we go...
Confession #1 - I am having a long lasting relationship with bagels and it stopped today. I am quitting cold turkey - see me eating a bagel - slap me. Seriously.
Confession #2 - I did not keep my blogging promise :-( Honestly, I don't even remember the days passing.
Confession #3 - The gym has not been my second home, in fact, I have not been there for a week. I feel gross and disgusting - it starts tomorrow and I am going tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Or I will die...
That is all for today. In other news, the weight front has come to a halt... not a gain but also not a loss so I need to accelerate that asap. I'm thinking spring break will be nice and motivational because it means summer is closer which means bathing suit season is closer. And someone has a trip planed to Texas at the end of May. I must be in tip top shape for that one so no slacking anymore. I wouldn't call the lack of exercise slacking - it has been more of a non priority... but regardless of my workload, it needs to get done. ALSO watching sooo many Rachel McAdams movies this weekend made me aspire to be her.

Spring break could not come sooner by the way... looking forward to it SOOOO much - makeover! (haircut and color), Atlantic City!!!, Kutztownnn, Remember Me with Rob, catching up on work and catching up with life... only 11 days - seriously. Can. Not. Wait.
Practice MCats on Saturday - I'm actually excited. I want to see how much work needs to be done by May 21st as of now, its a win-win situation. Either I do well and I can relax a little, or a do bad and I know that I need to work harder. Yay.
Thon was this weekend and although I did not attend the event, it was a cool moment to go to Penn State 7.8 million dollars raised for the kids... and as much as I dislike children - they shouldn't have to die and suffer from a disease. Maybe there will be a cure for cancer one day and maybe there won't be, but events like Thon can put some life into the kids for one more day - I'm all for that. As long as they didn't come out of my va-gine.
That is all for today - tomorrow is a busy day filled with BMB lecture, Physics lecture, Micrb 202 Studying, an RA Focus Group and my first GREECE meeting :-) Also a floor meeting - oh what fun!

I Love You, huh!
Well... I promised I would and I do NOT break promises so HERE I AM! Today I had bit a revelation, I'm not that stressed and have been relaxing for the past three hours and its amazing. I do have a lot of work I need to do but I have the time scheduled to do it and that makes me happy. I will get everything done I need to get done when I need it done.
So that was nice. The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and as of now the tripod will be reuniting tomorrow. It will be a good time.... question of the day - should I donate blood tomorrow? On the one hand, I have the time, its time for me to donate again, I feel healthy. However, I plan on drinking this weekend - which could make things more interesting - certainly cheaper!
Hmm...decisions, decisions....
LOVE YOU--

MY APOLOGY BLOG WORLD
So... Let us see. It has been wayyyyy too long since my last blog and updating you on everything I failed to keep up with will be nearly impossible. So here are the biggies:
school still sucks, I'm still stressed, I'm forced to watch the brutal murder of frogs weekly in my anatomy lab, I'm not getting into medical school, I do only need 24 credits to graduate with a B.S. in Pre-medicine from Penn State, I've been not eating animals that bleed (which is all animals in case you were wondering) for 3 weeks now, ummmm there is a possibility of the tripod being reunited (and it feels so good) this weekend, two movies are on the way (the Cove and the Time Traveler's Wife), my new phone is on the way (a stupid slider that I'm hoping I like), annnndddd I think that is everything.
Haha, I here VOW to blog everyday from here on out - it is for SURE a great venting system and with HUGE, very intense exams coming up it may be necessary. Also, stupid Valentine's Day is on its way - nooot one of my favorites...pshhh who needs love when you have the BEST FRIENDS EVER!
Alright, more tomorrow - PROMISEEEE!!--
Enjoy the snow (Penn State does not do snow days, so yes I will have class AGAIN tomorrow, like I did all day today; however, I will find adequate time to blog).

Tone got wasted last night and here are the texts I received from her:
And I quote...

Recap The Last Few Days
Sooo... Let me just say - these past couple days have felt sooooo insane yet I managed to keep most things in order- most. I have neglected my gym kick but I am back on track and scheduled for some Hip Hop aerobics tonight, haha. I have my very first exam a week from today so I must start preparing for that, Microbiology. I have my first lab practicums in Microbiology Wednesday and Thursday - nervous but the lab TV loves me for some reason so not too concerned. I have to finish my lab results and discussions for O Chem Lab and then continue onto my next pre lab questions and studying for Monday. I must write my report for my cardiovascular lab for Biology which I'm hearing is not that intense so I'm hoping to get that started and finished tonight while on duty. BioChem... well that is in the same category as Physics... may be a lost cause but I'm going to do my best to get caught up (as much I can) in BioChem and hope that I understand 25% of it (realistic goals here). And Physics - well I am hoping to try to do a lot of the homework on my own before I get help Sunday night and I must do the recitation since my group is worse than me at Physics and my TA is about as helpful as a rock (well a rock could work as a paperweight...so... I don't know about that).
Besides school...life. Well there is a big one. Like mentioned previously I have not been working out as much as my body needs so I need to get started on that. I am still working in a negative correlation; however, it is more of a tiny little plateau in the negative direction and I'm ready for some large declines. So working out more is a must. Food.. there is another one. However, after an "experience" I had yesterday, things may turn around on their own. Family is great. Friends are MORE than great like ALWAYS. I am venturing to Filth-phadelphia next Friday (sorry Kimmy, I love Philly when you are in it though!) for KIMMY's 21ST BIRTHDAY. I am sooooo excited to see her and Tone. THEN Valentine's weekend they are visiting me here. So I must take advantage of this last weekend of study time and then make the best out of my time management for the next two weeks so I can really enjoy myself the next couple weekends. Okay so my experience...
Yesterday I was just calmly sitting in my room and getting some work taken care of when I just turn on our movie channel. A documentary type movie was on so I just left it on while I finished up my work. Next thing I know I am literally gasping at the television when I see the brutal murder of dolphins in this cove in Taiji, Japan. It is called "The Cove" and it basically was a co-op mission to film this footage that has been unseen for years. It is horribly tragic, and I want it to stop. And now I am having trouble eating things that I know can bleed. It sounds stupid - especially from a science student like me- but I never thought about dolphins bleeding such a rich red color like humans. When you see all of the blood and the dolphins suffering that will eventually be sold as food (disguised as rare whale meat) - it changes your food decisions. So for now, I think I'm going to stray from eating things that bleed. -- Check out the link
So now I am just going to do all of the previously mentioned tasks, go to the gym more, anticipate next weekend, study for my test, and not eat things that bled when killed for food.
Until next time --
